TeamSnap for archery clubs: does it fit?

TeamSnap is a solid general sports app, and plenty of archery teams start there for the schedule and the group messages. Archery clubs tend to outgrow it when the work becomes waivers, fees, tournament sign-ups and NASP scores. Here's an honest look at where each one fits.

Based on public information as of October 2026

What TeamSnap does well

Schedules and messages for any sport.

TeamSnap supports more than 200 activities. For a single team, it covers scheduling, messaging, assignments and payments, with availability and RSVP tracking on its paid plans. Its clubs and leagues product adds registration with integrated payments, club websites, rosters and schedules. If your main problem is "who's coming to practice Tuesday," it does that job well, and families may already have the app.

Where archery clubs outgrow it.

Archery has its own paperwork. A youth club or NASP team needs a waiver signed for every archer, entry fees for each shoot, archers grouped by school and division, equipment orders, and scores from NASP tournaments. A general sports app wasn't built around those, so coaches end up adding a form for waivers, a spreadsheet for divisions and a separate list for who still owes for arrows.

An honest take

Which one should you pick?

Stay on TeamSnap if…

Your club runs several sports, or your biggest need is the team calendar and group chat, and fees and waivers are already handled somewhere else.

Archers Track fits better if…

You're an archery club or NASP team and most of your time goes to sign-ups, waivers, fees, tournament entries and scores. It puts all of that on one roster with one published price.

Moving over is easy

Export your roster to a CSV and import it. Archers Track matches your columns, turns grades into divisions and shows you everything before it saves. No emails go out to parents during an import.

Questions

Common questions.

Can an archery club use TeamSnap?

Yes. It handles schedules, messaging, availability and payments for any sport, and its clubs product adds registration and a club website. It isn't built around archery, so NASP divisions and scores, equipment orders and tournament sign-ups with waivers need other tools.

How much does TeamSnap cost?

As of October 2026, TeamSnap's site says single teams are $0 to start, with paid upgrades for availability tracking, larger rosters and drills, and clubs and leagues get customized pricing from sales. Archers Track is $399.99 a year or $39.99 a month for unlimited archers and coaches. Archers Track pricing in full.

Does TeamSnap do waivers?

Its teams and clubs pages didn't mention waivers as of October 2026, so ask TeamSnap. In Archers Track, waivers are part of every sign-up: parents sign on a phone and the signed copy stays with the archer. Free archery waiver template.

Is there an app to download?

Archers Track runs in the phone's browser, so coaches and parents don't install anything. Parents don't even need an account: they find their archer with their email and the archer's date of birth.
